### 4. Identify drivers that have direct relevance to the metric question

### 5. Find a correlation with your driver metric. In this case, customer loyalty.

If it's negligible, customer loyalty and service do not correlate. So high/low customer loyalty is not causing how well you do at service.&#x20;
